International stand-up comedy is LIVE here in KL featuring the world's best comedians from all around the globe. With acts from Australia, UK, US, New Zealand, Canada, Europe and Asia, Kuala Lumpur is sure to vvvv-vibrate with laughter. So, if you're looking for out-loud laughs, you can bet your arse to find it in The Comedy Club KL. Warning: Laughing too hard can cause belly-aches, a spinning head and a sense of euphoria. Review of Season I The Comedy Club KL has brought in waves of excitement bringing in a fresh form on entertainment to the scene. The success is reverberated with numerous sold out shows and highly regarded reviews in the press. Season I of TCCKL (June 2009 – March 2010) is hosted in 2 venues - Velvet Underground @ Zouk KL and PJ Live Arts @ Jaya One. Consistently on every 3rd week of the month, TCCKL showcases 3 comedians (2 international + 1 local comedian) with 3 shows in 3 nights. Great comedic acts include award-winning comedians Akmal Saleh (AUS), Jeff Green (UK), Brendhan Lovegrove (NZ) and Gordon Southern (UK). Local talents with the likes of Harith Iskander, Douglas Lim and Joanne Kam have also graced the TCCKL stage. Special guest and host include Rudy and Jay Menon from MixFM, Rashid Salleh from ESPN and Tarun Muhambai from New Zealand.
