Kuah Jenhan

Kuah Jenhan started his career in comedy after inherently winning Bond’s Stand Up Comedy Competition in 2006. His comedic talent was first discovered when he accidentally stumbled into “Free Flow”, an open mic event at The Actors Studio, Bangsar. Hailed as the best new comedian sprouting from Malaysian soil, Jenhan is set to blossom into a sturdy mango tree of the local entertainment scene.

“Kuah Jenhan has fantastic comedic timing and has a peculiar view of local insinuations.”- Heazry, The Comedy Club Asia

A young man of multiple talents, Jenhan has a fine track record of being emcee to numerous events and had also starred as the leading male role of his college play that marked the beginning of a journey towards greater performing opportunities. In 2007, he took a break from the comedy circuit and made his musical debut performing in Rose Rose I Love You, playing multiple roles which quickly earned him a Sub Principle role in the musical No Limits in 2008. Jenhan made into the cast of “Ismail: The Last Days”, a KLPAC musical production, which earned rave reviews.

Three musicals and two years later, the prodigal son returns and currently hones his comedic skills in an up and coming comedy collective, Young Comedians of Malaysia (YCOM), who have been actively promoting stand-up comedy as a viable form of entertainment here in Malaysia. With regular nights for international magazine Time Out Comedy Thursdays in Little Havana and Zouk KL, this strapping young mango tree of a man is set to take Malaysian stand-up comedy to a fresh new level, and believe it, the mangoes are sweetest here!
