Brendhan Lovegrove is a New Zealand based comedian, and a winner of virtually every award available to a comedian in NZ. Following a sell-out 2006 New Zealand International Comedy Festival show, Brendhan has gone on to win multiple New Zealand comedy awards, including the inaugural 2006 ‘Fred’ award for outstanding achievement in New Zealand comedy. He was also named best male comedian by the NZCG, and was the owner of best 2006 show.
The Emperor’s New Show as part of the 2007 NZ festival was attended by almost 2000 people, in both Auckland and Wellington. The last 12 months have also seen Lovegrove spend a considerable period of time on the Australian Comedy circuit.
Throughout his career Brendhan has graced stages worldwide, being an invited guest at places such as the Sydney Cracker Comedy Festival, London’s Comedy Store, and UK TV’s ‘Live at Jongleurs.’ Along with hosting the most recent serious of ‘Pulp Comedy,’ Lovegrove has also performed on Australia’s Rove Live, a feat unmatched in New Zealand comedy.
